If after five days of menstruation you have checked that there is no more bleeding or traces of blood found in your discharge, then one should do ghusl making sure that the water reaches everywhere (including the nose,the inside of the mouth, the bellybutton, under the nails, etc) and after ghusl one can pray salaah, read quran, etc.
