How to check for end of the menstruation cycle

How do you check for the end of the cycle? How do I exactly test for the end so I know at exactly which prayer I become responsible?

Answer

To find out when your period has ended you would check your pad periodically during the day to look for bleeding on your pad. As the definition of haid is, that blood which comes out of the female private part. When you do see bleeding on your pad or discharge that has even a thread's width of blood then you should wait and check again later. Upon seeing no blood or signs of bleeding then you should take a shower. As we do not know what time exactly we ended our periods, one should read the current salaah and qaza of the salaah that has just passed just to be on the safe side (remember it's always better to be safe than sorry).
