The loss of a child is indeed the greatest test for a mother and there are no words which can describe this pain and suffering of a parent. May Allah SWT make it easy for your sister and grant her the best rewards for her patience and the best compensation for her loss - Aameen. The support of family members will be very important to her for as long as she needs it. Please gently advise her that this is the will of Allah SWT and there is great wisdom in all that he wills, even though we do not understand it. When Moosa AS was travelling with Khidr AS, he witnessed the life of a child being taken and became very angry with Khidr AS. It is only Khidr AS explained that this was the will of Allah SWT because this child would have caused more harm to the parents had he lived. Later, Allah SWT replaced that child, due to the patience of the parents. Family members should habitually give sadaqah and turn to Allah SWT in dua and salaah. Allah SWT is the one who has power over everything, life and death are in his control. May Allah ease your difficulties and grant you patience, Aamin.
